This course is your entry point into professional lighting design with Relux. 

Learn how to plan, calculate, and evaluate lighting projects step by step, in a practical and standards-compliant way.

  1. Start, settings, and navigation
  2. Import and export interfaces
  3. Luminaires: selection, modification, and placement
  4. Standard and advanced functions
  5. Lighting calculation with Relux Express according to SN EN 12464-1
  6. Easylux and dynamic planning
  7. Working with evaluation areas and calculation surfaces
  8. Creating results and outputs: interpretation of the results
  9. Practical application exercises (e.g. office)

The number of participants is limited to 12 per course, ensuring an excellent learning experience.

In the first step, the fundamentals of ReluxDesktop are taught. Through clear examples and exercises delivered by our Relux-certified tutors and trainers, practical use of ReluxDesktop is deepened, enabling participants to develop targeted operational skills.

In this workshop, you will learn how to import plans, construct rooms, place luminaires in compliance with standards, and perform calculations.

Afterwards, participants will be able to carry out simple lighting designs for indoor applications.

Christof Fielstette

Christof Fielstette studied architecture in Würzburg and Hamburg. For around 20 years, Christof has been running his own freelance lighting design office, "made by light," in Hamburg. He specializes in artificial lighting and daylight planning, as well as lighting development for internationally renowned projects.
