  1. Lighting fixture placement, designing a combination luminaire
  2. Street and path lighting in accordance with SN EN 13201-2
  3. Parking lot lighting in accordance with SN EN 12464-2
  4. Lighting design for roundabouts
  5. Lighting calculations for pedestrian crossings
  6. Lighting design for streetscapes
  7. Practical implementation of application tasks (e.g., parking lots, roundabouts)


In this ReluxStreet&Place course, participants gain an introduction to the standard planning of street lighting systems. In addition, this workshop focuses on developing practical and correct methods for planning lighting in parking lots, roundabouts, and crosswalks.

Planners, landscape architects, electrical contractors, lighting manufacturers, wholesalers, educational institutions, and public street lighting operators.

Basic knowledge of lighting design; ReluxAccess and ReluxInterior are recommended.

The certificate will be emailed to you after you complete the course.

Please note the following information regarding participation in the online course:

  • We recommend using two monitors to be able to follow the course optimally.
  • Screen recording is not permitted.
  • Participation is personal and not permitted in groups.
  • The webcam must remain switched on throughout the entire course.
  • The course is limited to 12 participants which enables a great knowledge space.

Christof Fielstette

Christof Fielstette studied architecture in Würzburg and Hamburg. For around 20 years, Christof has been running his own freelance lighting design office, "made by light," in Hamburg. He specializes in artificial lighting and daylight planning, as well as lighting development for internationally renowned projects.
