Alderley Park

As part of Bruntwood Sci-Tech’s refurbishment of No.11 Mereside at Alderley Park, LDL Lighting provided tailored lighting solutions for 35,000 sq. ft of redeveloped workspace at this world-renowned science and technology campus.

The lighting concept was developed to support the dynamic and collaborative nature of the science and tech sector. Multifunctional luminaires were selected for their energy efficiency and seamless integration into the architectural design of the space.

With a strong focus on well-being and mental health, the refurbished building offers not only high-quality workspaces but also access to scenic views, extensive green areas, and a wide range of campus amenities – all contributing to a healthy and inspiring working environment.

Salford Van Hire

The Skylar LED luminaire from LDL Lighting proved to be an ideal choice for the Salford Van Hire project, thanks to its strong performance as a high-bay solution. Constructed from extruded aluminium and equipped with polycarbonate optics positioned directly over the LEDs, the Skylar ensures uniform light distribution across the space. For this project, the luminaires were suspended from the ceiling using a wire suspension kit, as shown in the images. The Skylar can also be wall-mounted, offering flexibility for various applications.

Wardle Academy

The award-winning WaterSHED project at Wardle Academy, designed by AJ Architects, transformed an outdated sports hall into a sustainable and modern learning and social centre. It features two flexible classrooms, a design technology studio, and a central area with a café. A staircase with integrated seating provides space for dining and events. The low-tech, low-carbon design aligns with LDL Lighting’s carbon net zero goals, with a wide range of their luminaires used throughout the project.
