Settings glare rating obstrusive light
Via the button Settings in the ribbon glare rating the necessary settings for the calculation can be made.
General settings:
The first option controls whether luminaires shade each other or not. If in doubt, this option should always be active.
The selection list "Dealing with small solid angles" offers three options
Solid angles less than 10-6 are calculated-
This option is for comparison with other programs only.
Limit solid angle to 10-6.
Is specified in ÖNORM
For solid angles smaller than 10-6, evaluate the glare illuminance *
Is specified in LAI
*) The scope of equation (2) is set at 0.1 cd/m2 < LU < 10 cd/m2 and
10-6 sr < ΩS < 10-2 sr limited. Below ΩS = 10-6sr there is a "point source" where the glare illuminance is decisive. This must not exceed Es = 10-3 * k * L0.5 in lux at the point of immission.
If the last option is selected, the output list is splited.
You can also select the desired columns in the result window.
Hint: The columns in the print output are always the same.
In the part "Limit list", the list of displayed luminaires can be limited if required.
The option "Ignore invisible light sources" hides luminaires that do not provide an entry for a specific measuring point for this measuring point.
The option Limit List limits the list to the n luminaires with the highest values or to luminaires for which the default is not met.
Auxiliary functions
The Settings/Tools function can be used to quickly adjust the limit values for all observers in the scene.
Symbol settings
Via the dialog „Symbol settings“
Already known functions can be quickly and efficiently applied to all project lights in the project.
- Change 2D Symbol
- Adjust the color of the alignment arrow
- Adjusting the beam direction
Furthermore, the often very long name of a luminaire used in lists and composed of various
information can be replaced by a more suitable short designation.
