MEYER for sophisticated lighting projects

For decades MEYER has been specialised in the development and production of exterior luminaires. We manufacture perfect lighting tools of exemplary design. Precise optical systems offer a high degree of efficiency and optimal glare control. Because of their small dimensions and integral drivers our luminaires can be incorporated discretely into any architectural environment.

Piece Hall, Halifax/UK
Buro Happold Lighting, Edinburgh

The Piece Hall is a Grate I listed building which dates back to 1779 when it traded “pieces” of cloth and made Halifax one of the most ambitious and enterprising towns in the North of England. Today the building and spacious courtyard are used as a cultural venue and include shops and restaurants. The colonnades are illuminated with uniform, warm light from Superlight LED floodlights equipped with various different optics. At the western gate linear luminaires of the Ecoline series are used to graze the façade.

More Projects

Around the globe luminaires from Meyer are used for demanding lighting projects. From façade lighting to the illumination of urban spaces their products are the preferred tools of renowned lighting designers. The luminaires work with precision and reliably behind the scenes and do not try to push themselves into the foreground. They are discreet and allow the architecture to present itself advantageously at night.
