We have added new features to the "ReluxDesktop"free professional light-planning software. The existing emergency lighting planning process has now been configured more clearly, making it even easier to use. In addition to the improved performance, we have incorporated further innovative features to enable more efficient planning.
All the features are contained in the latest release of the free version of ReluxDesktop. Update ReluxDesktop now and benefit from even more efficient planning.
Note for ReluxDesktop users: You can update to the newest version directly from within the ReluxDesktop program.

Redesigned emergency lighting planning – all in a single location
We have comprehensively redesigned the existing emergency lighting functions in ReluxDesktop and added new practical features. All the emergency lighting settings can now be selected and edited directly in the navigation bar. This enables you to work more efficiently through integral planning of the emergency lighting situation.
Auto placement / Live results tool
Emergency lights can now be placed automatically in “anti-panic” areas and along emergency escape routes. ReluxDesktop calculates the correct quantity and positioning of the luminaires and puts them in place with a click of the mouse. The default illumination level corresponds to EN 1838 and can be changed to any other illumination level. You thus benefit from huge time savings when calculating emergency lighting!
Activating the "LiveResults" element shows you in real time the results for emergency-enabled luminaires in a selected emergency lighting area. This tool enables rapid and direct planning. This is especially the case when luminaires for normal lighting are also used for emergency lighting. In the “View” menu option, you can switch to a full false colour view and obtain more detailed results in real time.
Visibility range tool – Easy compliance with standards
Using the visibility range tool, you can easily evaluate the number and position of all emergency luminaires on the basis of EN 1838. When the visibility range tool is activated, the visibility range can be seen directly when modifying the values or moving the luminaire.
